Three Things

  1. In 1915 Winston Churchill sent men to find vibranium in the Antarctic. The ship, the Endurance, was lost. Later my father, Leonard McKenzie, attempted to recover the Vibranium. My mother, Princess Fen, was sent to investigate explosions near the surface by her father, King Thakorr. McKenzie met and impregnated my mother. Soldiers commanded by General Krang attacked McKenzie’s crew. McKenzie did not die, though he did not recognize me later when he first learned of me in New York.
  2. In 1941 I was sent to New York City to investigate surface dwellers that had been diving near my home of Atlantis. When I discovered these men were called Nazis and the surface world was engaged in a world wide conflict I decided to help. Alongside Captain America and the Human Torch I opposed the Axis.
  3. After the war I returned to Atlantis and claimed the crown for myself. I married my cousin Dorma, with whom I had fallen in love with. However, Llyra, an evil princess of Lemuria, another submarine culture, kidnapped Dorma. Llyra had taken Dorma to the surface world in a tank as bait, and when I arrived, she smashed the tank to distract me. I was unable to save Dorma, and nearly went insane from grief.

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
When people run in circles it’s a very very
mad world mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy birthday, happy birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what’s my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
When people run in circles it’s a very very
Mad world, world
Enlarge your world
Mad world
